The Next Chapter of GCLS Education Is Coming
The GCLS Writing Academy is taking a planned pause while we reimagine and strengthen our educational programs for writers.
For years, the GCLS Writing Academy has brought writers together to learn, grow, develop their craft, and build community. The Academy remains an important part of GCLS's commitment to supporting sapphic literature and the people who create it.
Now, we're taking the opportunity to build on that foundation.
Building What Comes Next
During this pause, GCLS is looking at how we can make our educational programming more accessible, flexible, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of today's writers.
That includes exploring the future of the GCLS Writing Academy as well as additional opportunities such as shorter courses, workshops, mentoring, craft intensives, virtual programs, and other ways for writers to learn from—and with—one another.
We don't have all the answers yet. And that's intentional.
We want our community to help us build them.
