$20k for 20 Years

GCLS' End of Year Challenge

GCLS Community,

2024 is GLCS’ 20th anniversary year! We are excited to celebrate with you and the rest of our wonderful community over these next 12 months with expanded programs and an amazing conference in the Twin Cities!

To kick things off, we are issuing a challenge—help us raise $20,000 by the end of 2023.

It’s not going to be as difficult as you might think.

Thanks to a small group of generous donors the first $10,000 has already been committed, getting us to the halfway mark.

Now it’s your turn!

Help us raise the remaining $10,000.

Here’s how:

Go to the Donate page on our website here and scroll down to the donation box.

You can make a one-time gift to help us get to our goal

OR

If you make a new monthly donation we will count all 12 months of your contributions toward the challenge amount. This way, if you donate $10 a month, you will be contributing $120 toward the $10,000 challenge!

Using the drop-down menu, you can direct your donation to the $20k for 20 Years campaign or to conference scholarships, the Writing Academy or our Diversity and Inclusion PLUS Fund. Any of these choices will count toward the goal and help meet the challenge.

AND

If your employer has a matching gift program, let us know and that amount will also count toward the goal.

How will your donation be used by GCLS? Your donation will help offset the costs of software licenses, video production, web design, and key services...all the things that keep GCLS running.

As an expression of our appreciation, for those of you who can give $100 or more (or a yearly total of $100+ paid on a monthly basis), author Veronica Gutierrez has generously agreed to host an online Mixology Class for you all. We hope to see you there!

We hope you will join those of us who have already committed the first half of the challenge by getting us to $20,000. All you have to do is go here and contribute whatever you can.

Thanks so much and all the best for the holiday season and the new (20th!!!) year.
